Sidecar has an unfettered sound, drawing from folk, blues, old-time country and pop. The band is made up of three neighbours - Jasper Degroot, (percussion, accordion, banjo), Aaron Elllingsen (fiddle, mandolin) and Jeanne Tolmie (lead vocals, acoustic guitar). Their songs speak to matters of the heart and conjure scenes of the everyday. Harmony and simple arrangements are their key ingredients.
